Private Events
Where previously private events were limited, as of January 2nd, 2023 Schroeder Hall's schedule is now fully open for private events, including weddings! Plan your wedding or event at one of the best venues in Texas. We are a 13,000 square foot open concept venue, with a maximum capacity of 1,200, up to 4 acres of parking, and seating between 300 and 500 depending on your needs and setup. We have a 4,000 square foot dance floor, and a large professional stage. We are an easy 20 minute drive from Victoria, where you can find restaurants, shopping, parks, and other activities as well as six modern, recently built hotels: including the Hilton. We are also 20 minutes from historic and beautiful Goliad, TX.
We can work with you to bring in some of the best artists in Texas to perform at your event! We have one of the best sound systems in Texas, and we provide professional sound engineers to work your event. If you have an outdoor event, we have an outdoor stage with an outdoor capacity of up to 2,500, although parking would be somewhat limited. The outdoor stage and courtyard make a beautiful and memorable setting for many wedding ceremonies. We have a full-service bar and a chef on staff to provide catering. Generally, all you will need is an event planner and decorator, and we can provide everything else. We aim to make your event smooth and stress free.
At Schroeder Dance Hall, we love to celebrate. For 130 years Schroeder Hall has been the entertainment backdrop for a number of famous live music artists, as well as celebrations; including weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, graduation parties, retirement parties, military homecomings, family reunions, fundraisers, banquets and more.
The hall features a historic 4,000 square foot oak hardwood dance floor for live concert performances and dancing. Adjacent to the hall is the historic Schroeder Saloon, now remodeled as a bridal suite. Schroeder Dance Hall offers an authentic Texas atmosphere, rich with a history dating back to 1890, that is sure to create memorable experiences for you and your special guests.
