Urban Cowboy Classic Movie Night

Schroeder Hall will have its first movie night in the courtyard! We will have A mechanical Bull ,Outdoor projector, food specials, Drink specials! Did I mention its FREE! Doors open at 6 pm. Movie will start around 8pm.(when the sun goes down) URBAN COWBOY! This movie did for country music what Saturday Night Fever did for disco music. The world went crazy for boots, cowboy hats and country dancing after this movie came out. Bud and Sissy ----- John Travolta and Debra Winger ----- in a scene from 1980's "Urban Cowboy." Not much I can say other than this movie was not only a huge hit but also hugely influential and helped ignite a whole country-western craze that never really abated. I always think of the Uncle Bob character saying, "You know Bud; sometimes even a cowboy's gotta swallow his pride to hold on to somebody he loves.." Truer words have never been spoken!
